Our Center
We are one of the first records storage facilities in the United States to meet
new NARA requirements. The RC&V is equipped with environmental control, fire
protection systems, back-up power generators, and enhanced security.
Located in a former mine in Missouri, the facility is carefully maintained at a constant temperature
below 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and a relative humidity of 45 percent.
The facility is constructed from solid limestone and reinforced concrete. The construction of this climate-controlled facility, combined with extensive fire protection and prevention systems, makes it ideally suited for records storage on paper or electronic media.
Our loading dock is environmentally controlled to insure that media will not be subjected to extreme temperature fluctuations.
Total Security
Our facility is protected by a sophisticated security system, with strictly controlled access, and operated by archive technicians with security clearances.
A redundant power generator serves all control, protection, and alarm systems.
Future Growth
With a million square feet of undeveloped space remaining for future expansion, the RC&V will continue to provide ongoing records storage services in the future to accommodate our customers' storage requirements.
